Dining Room Redo...Fresh and Personalized.

This dining room tells a story...it speaks volumes about this family in a simple and personalized way.

Out with the old rose colored walls, swag curtains, and brass chandelier... and in with the fresh walls, customized curtains and furniture, and 'in style' chandelier...not to mention the personalized touches of this family's travels abroad!

Wall color is Sherwin Williams...Light French Gray #0055.

Custom Made Dining Table...from Reclaim Renew, which customizes reclaimed wood into any type of furniture you can dream up!

Bar cabinet...made in China. It was part of my client's furnished home when they lived in Shanghai.  They liked it so much, they purchased it from their landlord.  The cabinet opens up and is on wheels, so it works well while entertaining with its easy mobility.

Large framed painting is a traditional Chinese ancestry painting bought at a market in China.  My client and her American friends had them framed in China, but were uncertain if they would translate back in their American homes.  Now back in the US, my client and her friends continue to love them, especially the color and conversation piece aspect.

The blue and white bowl...is from the Ginger Jar Market.  It’s more Nepal style than traditional Chinese.  You can see this in the more bold patterns and designs in dark blue.

Dining Room Fulton 8-light Bronze Fixture...is from Hinkley Lighting.

Dining chairs...custom chairs made in China.  The fabric is from Calico Corners and is a performance, washable fabric. My client bought and recovered the seats of the side chairs herself.

Captain’s chairs...are from World Market.  The fabric is also from Calico Corners and Jerry's Custom Upholstery in Webster Groves made the slipcovers.

Window Treatments...they are silk and made in Shanghai.

Caged Baker's Rack...purchased at Restoration Hardware Outlet.  Excellent for storage of serving pieces...baskets hold silverware/napkins/placemats. This rack compliments to rustic style of the new lighting very well.

Blue and white ginger jar...purchased at the Ginger Jar Market and shown here without the lid, as it is being used as a vase.
